Granito tiles: composition and production. Grey or white Portland cement, marble powder, cement pigments, water, marble granulates and tainted glass chips. These components are mixed, poured into a mould and pressed. These tiles will air dry and harden. The last stage is polishing done in the factory, of the pigmented side of the tile, which will unveil the beauty of the mix.
Applicable standards MOSAIC DEL SUR ® granito tiles are comparable to terrazzo tiles with fine chips (1 to 3 mm). The applicable standard is the UNE_EN 13748-1 (Terrazzo of interior use). The UPEC classification does not include this type of flooring.

Weight and packaging The granito tiles have a thickness of 18 to 30 mm, depending on their size. They are packaged in cardboard boxes, separated by foam sheets. The boxes of tiles are delivered on a protected pallet.
